Affirmation is a powerful tool for rewiring your thinking. Despite the seeming ease (nothing special – just repeat some phrases!), affirmations really can do a lot.

How to enhance the effect of affirmations so that they really work?

Affirmations should always be formed in Present tense (“I am ready”, “I’ve got”…).

 

It’s better to use as short, clear and specific wording as possible.

 

Avoid the particle “NOT”. Affirm only what you want to have, not what you want to get rid of.

 

Spend at least 5-10 minutes a day working with affirmations. Ideally – immediately after waking up or just before going to bed. It’s better to say affirmations aloud. You’ll have the best effect from affirmations pronounced aloud in front of the mirror.

 

Don't use too many affirmations at once. 1-2-3 phrases are totally enough.

 

Find “your” affirmation – the one resonating with your aspirations and current state.

 

The best effect will come from the affirmation you feel as yours. Try working with ready-made affirmations from this article, or create on their basis your own ones, considering the above recommendations.

 

“Live” the affirmation. Allow yourself to feel your state. Automatic pronouncing won’t lead to desired results. Try living the affirmation you say. Create a 3D picture in your imagination. What does what you are thinking about right now look and sound like?

 

For example, “I easily attract favorable circumstances and supportive people” – imagine that this is already the case. Who is there with you? How are you supported? Your ideas get funded, you are offered a promotion at work, you get an offering of profitable cooperation – let your imagination run wild. The brighter the picture is, the deeper the trace it will leave in your mind, giving it the command to work on the implementation of what it saw. Just let your inner navigator lay the root to your dream.
