It Happens that You Need Some Stress
- Yes, I know all that! I’m working at self-cognition and self-development. I have figured out a lot on my own. But…
But you still continue searching for the answer of “how to fall in love with yourself”. You continue living inside the limits which you have promised to break and get free for thousand times. You still depend on sweet or other habits and each Monday are going to get rid of them. You also have an unloved work, toxic relationships and hopeless situations...
As paradoxical as it may sound now, but you need some stress. Such tough one as in do or die situation. Which will press you against the wall and breathe a prickly and cold breath into the back of your head.
- But I live in a stress all my life! – you may object.
Trust me, you live in comfort, safe and habit. That’s why nothing changes and happens. And more precisely – you do nothing.
What is a stress?
A certain situation which makes you search for new solutions, forget about your fears and precautions, takes away the opportunities and benefits on which you relied and which helped you to leave everything as it was. A stress is a destructive element destroying everything in a one fell swoop. And only then most of us start steering to those aims about which we have thought and talked for so ling.
You don’t believe, do you?
Have you thought why the majority of women start working on their well-being and themselves in general when they understand that they have problems with health? We are more afraid of problems with our heart than of the overweight.
When you hear that your overweight, malnutrition and lack of sports in a year or two will cause serious problems with your cardiovascular system, spine and joints or even lead to the diabetes, it becomes a real shock for you. In other words, it is a stress.
You will cry and complain for a day or two, and on the third one you will start looking for the ways out from this situation. You will find time to go to the gym, replace or significantly reduce the amount of sweet in your diet, and so on.
Or another situation – you don’t like your job. In your mind you draw pictures of how you in some magical way find a new one. You get a better salary, wonderful colleagues, a management that values you. But in reality, you only complain.
What prevents you from finding a new job? You’ll have to improve your second language, blend into a new team, you also must bring up to date your CV.
Suddenly – a stress! You get fired. In the same magical way that you even can’t understand how and why it has happened. The circumstances have pressed you against the wall. A do or die situation. And you quickly find the language courses, go on an internship. You simply don’t have time for nagging.
And one more important issue. Sometimes a woman starts a revival of her self-worth when it’s at the level of the plinth. She leans on it because understands that there is nothing lower, and she rises. Firstly, she is holding on to the wall. Then she becomes more confident. And eventually she sees herself as the center of her own universe.
Is it possible to avoid stress?
Yes, of course! Some people grow to such point, cultivate self-discipline and self-responsibility. Sometimes they do things which they don’t want to do, but knowing why it is necessary. Or vice versa, they give up something, because it does not lead to where they want.
You always have a choice! And it is always yours...
